Jeremiah 29:11 - God has a plan for you

Jer. 29:8   For thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Let not your prophets and your diviners, that be in the midst of you, deceive you, neither hearken to your dreams which ye cause to be dreamed.  9 For they prophesy falsely unto you in my name: I have not sent them, saith the LORD.  10 For thus saith the LORD, That after seventy years be accomplished at Babylon I will visit you, and perform my good word toward you, in causing you to return to this place.  11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.  12 Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you.  13 And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.  14 And I will be found of you, saith the LORD: and I will turn away your captivity, and I will gather you from all the nations, and from all the places whither I have driven you, saith the LORD; and I will bring you again into the place whence I caused you to be carried away captive.

Ephesians 3:20 - Rely On God

Eph. 3:14   For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,  15 Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named,  16 That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man;  17 That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,  18 May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height;  19 And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.  20 Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,  21 Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.

Psalm 66:18 - When prayers don’t work

Psa. 66:0   To the chief Musician, A Song or Psalm.

Psa. 66:1   Make a joyful noise unto God, all ye lands:  2 Sing forth the honour of his name: make his praise glorious.  3 Say unto God, How terrible art thou in thy works! through the greatness of thy power shall thine enemies submit themselves unto thee.  4 All the earth shall worship thee, and shall sing unto thee; they shall sing to thy name. Selah.  5 Come and see the works of God: he is terrible in his doing toward the children of men.  6 He turned the sea into dry land: they went through the flood on foot: there did we rejoice in him.  7 He ruleth by his power for ever; his eyes behold the nations: let not the rebellious exalt themselves. Selah.

Psa. 66:8   O bless our God, ye people, and make the voice of his praise to be heard:  9 Which holdeth our soul in life, and suffereth not our feet to be moved.  10 For thou, O God, hast proved us: thou hast tried us, as silver is tried.  11 Thou broughtest us into the net; thou laidst affliction upon our loins.  12 Thou hast caused men to ride over our heads; we went through fire and through water: but thou broughtest us out into a wealthy place.

Psa. 66:13   I will go into thy house with burnt offerings: I will pay thee my vows,  14 Which my lips have uttered, and my mouth hath spoken, when I was in trouble.  15 I will offer unto thee burnt sacrifices of fatlings, with the incense of rams; I will offer bullocks with goats. Selah.  16 Come and hear, all ye that fear God, and I will declare what he hath done for my soul.  17 I cried unto him with my mouth, and he was extolled with my tongue.  18 If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me:  19 But verily God hath heard me; he hath attended to the voice of my prayer.  20 Blessed be God, which hath not turned away my prayer, nor his mercy from me.
